Business/Insurance Intern - Summer 2027

Hours: 8:30-5:00 Local Time

Compensation: $20/hour

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our underwriting and operations team. This role provides hands-on exposure to the insurance industry, including support, policy processing, and day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing submissions, reviewing documents, and supporting the underwriting process
• Actively participate in day-to-day operations, including data entry, file management, and system updates
• Learn how to review policies, claims, and risk information while contributing to team workflows
• Collaborate with team members on projects and gain exposure to agency communications
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and discussions to build industry knowledge

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Interest in Risk Management/Insurance or Financial Services
